She wakes up in the morning to the sound of 12 different alarms. She hits snooze countless times and opens her eyes to a blurred purple vision. She shudders at the cold and fumbles around for the remote to turn off the AC specifically set at 24 every night. She lies for 10 minutes within her quilt to let the warmth envelope her but then she finally stops procrastinating, throws off the covers and braves it. She funbles here and there till she finally finds her glasses set meticulously in that one specific place each night, each morning. She'll check both of her cellphones in turn and more often than not have missed calls and texts that would need immediate replying to. Slipping on the glasses, blurredpurple turns to purpleperfection. She sighs.

The purple walls. The pink curtains. The red, yellow, blue, purple, pink quilt. The yellow, white, pink bathroom slippers. The baby pink carpet slippers. The purple bathroom accessories. The pink bathroom mat. The purple furniture. But the yellow wall clock. The yellow wall clock has ducks. Yes, she's one of those. Her mirror haspictures, her face has a smile. Her heart has some pain, her mind has some insecurity. But there's always passion.

She gets laughing fits where she grabs her stomach and can't stop for ages. She looks beautiful in pictures with her blue lenses - makeup can do wonders. It makes her believe she's pretty. Her life revolves around makebelieve. She loves fiddling with her car keys. She loves playing with hair. She loves the taste of karhi, but only the perfect one that only her mom can make. She loves receiving text messages and she loves being loved.

She reads bowling pins like tea leaves, every pin she knocks down is a boy who's heart she'll break. She always bowls a perfect game. Usually, it ends.

She smiles.
