2. a person of puzzling or contradictory character: To me he has always been an enigma, one minute completely insensitive, the next moved to tears.

they talk randomly. sometimes at morning, sometimes at night. but somehow, everyday. he says random things at random intervals, but then, she isn't very unrandom either. he's like a male version of her. she's like a female version of him. the same lifestyle, the same inhibitions. but maybe not.

he'll randomly say something like wheels within wheels. she'll randomly connect it to chinese boxes. he'll tell her how there's a pattern, even in chaos. random is not so random. she never knew he could say something nearly as profound, heh. she'll look up enigma.. he won't ask any questions, just tell her how he likes the definition. but.. she won't tell him how she's always liked it too.
