The Perfect Cup

It's so strange. The first time you have a cup of coffee you're not sure whether it tastes good or not because you have never had coffee before. The few subsequent occasions that you do have coffee on, you need to have more than a few sips, even finish the whole cup sometimes, to decide whether the coffee was good or not -be it coffee from Costa, Espresso, Ciao, Lattetude.. whether it's cappuccino, mochachinno, frappacino, espresso or latte. Eventually, you start developing a taste for it. After many more tries, you become used to the taste of coffee and then, just a sip, or sometimes even just the smell, can be enough for you to determine whether or not you are going to like a certain cup or coffee.. whether or not you even want to have it. Very rarely, you stumble upon a cup of coffee that you like enough to want to finish it to the last drop. This coffee has potential, it has hope. It has that certain bitterness, certain sweetness, certain tang that you want to have in the cup of coffee that you'd want to keep having for the rest of your life.
The sad part is, that certain brew has many more mouths to explore.
