Does he make you laugh?
He doesn't make me cry.
I believe everyone's life is like a half-painted picture. We spend our lives walking around in semi-colored worlds looking for someone with another half-painted picture in such a way that it perfectly complements ours and we end up coloring the blacks and whites in theirs while they color the drabs in ours. We all want to see our picture completely colored and the one who can do that is our Perfect Half. Often, we don't find him and we spend our lives settling for something much less, some parts of our picture remain uncolored and we never realize how they could have colored our lives. Sometimes the passion is missing, sometime the compatibility, or the understanding, or the caring, or something else. But other times, other people, do find the Perfect Half.. He who colors our picture completely. If we're lucky enough, we get to spend the rest of our lives in colorful bliss. But more often than not, we end up losing the Perfect Half. The saddest thing is, when he leaves.. He not only takes away his own colors with him but also the ones we originally had.. And we're left off so much worse than we were when we started off. He leaves us with no more than black and white ghosts of the past. After this, no matter how many people we meet, no matter how many colors we encounter, we will always have to settle for a little less than the complete picture because there's no one out there who has a picture totally complete with colors. Thus, after losing the Perfect Half, we drudge along a colorless life, marinating in memories of colorful picutres and never, ever having all those colors ever again.
All the pictures sent, all been washed in black,
All the love gone bad, turned my world to black..
Tattooed all I see, all that I am.. All that I'll be.
Happy valentine's day.
He doesn't make me cry.
